Josh and Sara - Durango August 2012

Thanks to my wonderful sister in law Janea Skinner for babysitting my crazy kiddos for the weekend so that Josh and I could have a wonderful get a away to Durango, CO.

We went through the reservation and Monument Valley and up to the temple in Monticello, UT.
Then we went an hour and a half to Durango.
It is so beautiful! The next day we drove 75 miles north of Durango through Silverton and into Ouray, CO. Now that is just AMAZINGLY Gorgeous. This is in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. It is just beauty all around. We saw some deer, waterfalls, lots of water and some of Heavenly Father's beautiful creations.

We took the chairlift to the top of the mountain at Purgatory and rode the alpine sleds down. That was fun!

This is right behind our hotel. It was right on the river.

Thanks Josh!  Happy 11th Anniversary. I Love you!

San Diego May 2012

We had a great vacation to San Diego. Josh was there on a business trip so we went to crash the party.
We stayed at a fancy hotel that had water slides at the pool. Our little fish were in heaven.

We LOVED Legoland!  It was fun. We all wore Michigan State shirts so that we wouldn't loose anyone.......and it must have worked because everyone is accounted for.

The beach......not so much fun.  The kids all thought it was cold, and it was very windy. They just kept asking to go back to the hotel water slides. I packed a lunch to eat at the beach but it was so windy that it would have been a very crunch sandwich. So we packed up and headed pool side!

Exhausted.............

Utah June 2012

We had a wonderful family vacation to Utah. We saw some parts of Utah that we have never seen before and it was beautiful.  To start the trip, we stayed with our good friends the McCall family while Josh ran the Utah Valley Marathon in Provo. We are so proud of him and this amazing accomplishment!

Thank you Brittany and Haven. You have a sweet family.

Jackson was standing on the fence waiting for his dad to cross the finish line.

After the Marathon, we went to Thanksgiving Point and the Dinosaur Museum. The kids had a great time!

Some beautiful parts of Utah!

While in Utah, we drove by as many temples as we could. They are all so neat to see.

While on Temple Square, we went to the Book of Mormon children's museum. That was a lot of fun.

Austin meets his true match.......a billy goat!

We found this SUPER cool park called "Sugar House Park" It has rolling hills of grass all around and a duck pond.  The kids had a blast rolling and running down the hills.

Cowabunga Bay was a BLAST!

We went to visit Brian and Faith in Logan. Where they live is AMAZING!  Seriously, who has a pond in their front yard?  with a zip line? And they have a pony. So much fun!

We went to the little zoo in Logan.

Brian and Faith took us to a reservoir while we were there. The kids had a great time riding the tube, jet ski and Madelyn did a super job wake boarding.

What trip to Utah would be complete without a picture in front of Cougar Stadium.

Josh stayed in Logan with the kids while I ran in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay. It is a 12 person relay for 200 miles. It started in Logan and went to Park City. I had a BLAST!  I have not laughed that hard in a long time. I didn't take any pictures because I left my camera with Josh and the kids. Oh well! (We don't need a picture of me running anyway!)

Our family trip to Utah was a huge success!  We made some great memories!
